KIDS 4 KIDS has been created to allow us to help children of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.

Whilst The John Hardy Trust will concentrate on working with UK Youth and their Members (from age 13 upwards), KIDS 4 KIDS will look to helping younger children through its' varied initiatives. These will include working with clubs, pre-schools, schools and other groups using media such as sport, active play, club activities, music and many others. To create healthy, happy adults we need to encourage activity and healthy eating from an early age. We feel that this way ALL children can benefit from what we are aiming to achieve, which is more active, healthy and happy kids.

WAYS IN WHICH YOU CAN HELP KIDS 4 KIDS

TIME

All children need our time. The only way they learn is by interacting with adults.
Give your time now for all young people by volunteering to work with local child/youth groups. Tell us what you have done or are doing for your local communities children. The best helper every month wins a prize.

BEST HELPER

What have you done for your local community? If you have or are working with local children's/young people's groups, national groups, any charity both local or national then let us know and we will enter you into our monthly prize draw and list your efforts here on our site. All you need do is drop us a line briefly explaining which group or charity you are working with, what they do to benefit the local community and what you have done to aid and assist them. We will need a letter from the groups or charities official representative confirming your involvement with them and then we will list both them and you on our site. If you can, send some pictures or press releases to be included. The prize draw will take place at the end of each month.

BEST HELPERS

The Best Helpers this month are:

Steve Copley
Musician - Steve has been involved with music since the age of 15. He took up teaching of music producing many succesful students. Having listened to young people talking about stopping war he wanted to give something back to the next generation. Thus he wrote and recorded When It's Over, a song to be sold on behalf of the Kids 4 Kids Charity with all proceeds going to the benefit of young people.

The Salterhebble Infant & Junior School Choir
This is a local school choir that backed Steve on the CD single When Its Over. They, like all the musicians on the CD, gave their services for free. This is young people helping young people.

Pollington Panthers Football Club
Just some of the young footballers whose training gear carries the Kids 4 Kids logo. They have included details of the Kids 4 Kids charity on their web site.
